Accutron has introduced their Digital Ultra™ Flowmeter, the only flowmeter with both digital and electronic flow tube displays--allowing critical information to be viewed at-a-glance and without thinking in terms of conversion. Combining efficiency with safety, the unit is designed for the clinician who desires the performance and accuracy that digital microprocessor technology provides.
Adjustments in flow volume are achieved with touch control while the ratio of gases being administered remains constant; adjust the gas ratio and the flow volume stays constant. A built-in safety feature prevents the system's oxygen concentration from dropping below 30% and a fail-safe discontinues the flow of nitrous oxide if the oxygen supply is compromised. Both audible and visual (LED) alarms provide immediate notification of low oxygen supply. Sealed membrane switch technology provides a smooth surface for cleaning and disinfecting or applying barriers to the unit.
The Digital Ultra's soft white color, rounded corners and vivid markings make it appropriate for contemporary operatory environments. The flushmount unit, with a footprint of 9 1/8" x 4 1/4", can be seamlessly built into a wide variety of office cabinetry configurations. Portable units (including the enclosed 4-cylinder Digital Newport), and central systems with a wide selection of mounting options are available.
